Worth the Chase on ReelShort: Release Date and Where to Watch

Published 19 October 2026 · Updated 28 October 2026 · DramaReel Blog

If you have been searching for the Worth the Chase ReelShort release date, you are not alone — and until now there has been no proper guide to find. The results are only ReelShort's own pages. Here is what has actually been announced, where to watch it, and what the story is about.

When does Worth the Chase come out?

Wattpad and ReelShort announced the partnership on 15 October 2026, confirming that Worth the Chase would launch on ReelShort on 27 October 2026. Trade coverage the same day put it the same way: ScreenMDM described it as “launching later this month”. That date — 27 October 2026 — is the official launch date to plan around.

Launch check, 28 October 2026: the title is live on ReelShort with a “Watch Now” button and episode tiles starting with a trailer and episode 1. ReelShort’s title page states the series has 67 episodes, is complete, and that premium episodes begin at episode 12. No cast list is presented on that title page, so this guide does not list one.

One earlier wrinkle is now resolved. ReelShort’s listing was already live and marked “Completed” before the announced date; at launch the title page confirms all 67 episodes are available, so the completed marking matches a full-series release rather than a staggered rollout.

Where to watch Worth the Chase

This is a ReelShort release, so ReelShort is where to watch it. The title's own page is up in ReelShort's app listings.

To be clear: Worth the Chase is not on DramaReel, and we are not claiming otherwise. DramaReel is our own separate app — more on that, and what romance fans can watch alongside it, is below.

ReelShort is a significant platform for this kind of launch. In the partnership announcement, ReelShort reported more than 75 million monthly active users, so a Wattpad adaptation arriving there starts with a very large potential audience already in place.

How many episodes does Worth the Chase have?

67 episodes, and the series is complete — all of them are available now, according to ReelShort’s title page checked 28 October 2026. Premium episodes begin at episode 12. The episode carousel counts 68 items because it includes the trailer alongside the 67 episodes.

What is Worth the Chase about?

The official synopsis, in outline, centres on Ryan Collins, an ordinary girl next door. She spends one night with her best friend, Carsen, who is a football prodigy. The night leads to a pregnancy, which she keeps secret — and Carsen leaves for NFL training. That set-up gives you the shape of the drama: a friendship changed in one night, a secret with a time limit, and two lives pulling in opposite directions just as the stakes rise.

That is the story outline from the listing. For episode count: ReelShort’s title page (checked 28 October 2026) states 67 episodes, all available, with premium episodes beginning at episode 12. No cast list is presented on that page, so none is listed here.

The Wattpad partnership behind it

Worth the Chase is part of a wider deal. On 15 October 2026 in Toronto, Wattpad and ReelShort announced a partnership to adapt three fan-favourite Wattpad stories into live-action vertical dramas for ReelShort.

The first title gives this launch some useful context. Just One Kiss premiered on 27 September 2026 and passed 30 million views in about three weeks, according to the same announcement. That is a strong start for the partnership, and it explains why the second adaptation was getting attention ahead of its launch.

It also tells you something about the format. These are not traditional television adaptations. They are Wattpad stories rebuilt as vertical, phone-first serialised dramas — short episodes, designed to be watched on a mobile screen, with each instalment ending in a way that pushes you into the next one.

Is Worth the Chase free to watch?

No separate pricing for this specific title was announced alongside the partnership news, so we are not going to invent a figure for it. Short drama pricing also varies by app and by country, and it changes often.

If cost matters to you, it is worth reading up before launch day rather than after the cliffhangers have you.
